Hi, Linnet.
The way things are at now. It is becoming evident that blended learning is taking shape. This is evidenced on the number of learners opting for blended learning compared to face to face, number of institutions engaging on the same, number of trainers taking courses to improve their elearning skills among others. Institutions on other hand have invested alot on technology since COVID 19 strike. This tells you why, the mind of traditional content delivery might soon …

Striking a balance is important. Sticking to a face to face alone might lead to a death of the institution given the generation we have and the times we are living in (“im not a prophet of doom”).

My thoughts.
“Whats you take members of this community?”

Thank you Mr. Wambua I agree 100%. Lets hear from other members of the community.
Kind regards

Hey Linnet,
Awesome question!
Blended learning needs to go beyond the technology, the process and struggling to maintain flexibility…as I’ve observed in many institutions in Nigeria. I’ve been engaged in discussions about ODFeL the past 4 days. We need to address the greatest potentials of using digital technologies in teaching and learning, which is the ability to cater to learner differences and preferences.
We should be talking about adaptive teaching…personalized learning…differentiated instruction. How can teachers use the blended learning approach to develop resilient courses? Courses that can withstand emergencies and also offer flexibility for various learners

Sorry response came in late!
Work!!!

Linnet,
I forgot to add blended learning for the development of learning ecosystem…

Hi Madam Nkiru
